The Sanctuary of Saint John Paul II is part of the John Paul II "Be Not Afraid!" Centre in Łagiewniki, Kraków. It was built after the pope's death on the site of the former Solvay works, known as the White Seas, where the young Karol Wojtyła did manual labour during the wartime occupation.
