Community rules
Beta version. This document applies during the open beta and is being reviewed by lawyers in parallel; we will announce changes by e-mail 14 days in advance.
Bratnio connects pilgrims. We want every conversation, post and meeting to be safe - also for people who share something very personal. The rules apply to posts, comments, reviews, alerts, groups, chat, profiles, journey stories and organisers' offers. Team: the site owner and the support team ([email protected]).
1. What we do not publish or tolerate
• Harassment, threats, humiliation, incitement to hatred - including on grounds of religion, origin, gender, age or disability. Disagreeing is fine; insulting is not.
• Exposing other people's data: address, phone number, place of lodging, route, photos of people without consent, children's location.
• Sexual content, violence, illegal material; sexual content involving minors is reported to law enforcement.
• Fraud: fake trip offers, fundraising without a named organiser, impersonating parishes, orders, organisers or other people.
• Spam, advertising without a partner agreement, mass invitations, accounts created to inflate ratings.
• False alerts about places or people. An alert has a source and a date. Bratnio keeps no "map of suspicious people" and is not an emergency service - in an emergency call 112.
• Content the author has no rights to (photos, song lyrics, recordings). Missing licence information is not consent.
• Rating people's religiosity. We rate places (1–5), not people.
2. How to report
The "Report" button next to every piece of content and profile (reason from the list plus a description) or e-mail [email protected]. Only the moderation team sees a report; the reporter is never revealed. Blocking a user works immediately and regardless of moderation - in presence, invitations, chat and comments.
3. What moderation does
• Content breaks the rules: the content is hidden and the author is told why - within 48 working hours of the report.
• Repeated violations: posting and invitations limited for 7–30 days.
• Fraud, threats, illegal content: immediate account block, evidence preserved, reported to the authorities where the law requires it.
• Unfounded report: no change, the reporter is informed - within 48 working hours.
• Organiser offer with an error or out of date: publication paused until corrected.
Moderation does not read private conversations unless one of the parties reports them; every support access to a conversation is audited.
4. Appeal
Every decision can be appealed within 14 days - in the app next to the notification or by e-mail. The appeal is reviewed by a different person than the one who decided. Reply within 14 days.
5. Account and data
You can delete your account at any time in the app and on the website; public content disappears, billing data is kept only as long as the law requires. A blocked account cannot create a new one with the same e-mail address. We change these rules with 14 days' notice by e-mail.

The organiser is responsible for the offer, prices, terms and participants' data. Bratnio verifies organisers before publication and may withdraw verification after violations. Partners do not receive pilgrims' data without their separate consent.
