Wambierzyce is a village in the Kłodzko Land in the Sudetes, dominated by the Baroque Basilica of the Visitation with its monumental stairway. The present church dates from the first half of the 18th century. Around it extends a Calvary with numerous chapels and gates, which is why the place is called the Silesian Jerusalem.
Pilgrims come to the small statue of Our Lady with the Child, venerated as Queen of Families and crowned in 1980. Tradition links the beginnings of the devotion with the medieval healing of a blind man who prayed at a statue placed on a tree. The faithful also make the Way of the Cross on the Calvary.
